History
Originally Media Core was released in 2009 as an open-source video platform,which is still kept today at opensource.mediacore.com. In 2011 we began todevelop a cloud-based version of the MediaWiki core and partnership withPandaStream.com, a cloud-powered encoding platform built on top of Amazon’sElastic Compute Cloud. With this partnership we have also added additional officesin London, England.
In the past year, the median core work with some of the most exciting educational institutions and Fortune 500-brands to create powerful video experiences that serve different audiences.
