Although Podcasting is currently built on free services, provided by thousands of enthousiasts from all over the world, many Podcasters - and related service providers - are looking for a way to create a profitable business-model.
In that respect, Podcasting resembles the radio-business, which started in much the same way.
Speaking of which, there are some major differences between radio and Podcasting in regard to the producer-listener interaction. (And that also goes for Vidcasting.) And those differences have a major impact on the business-models.
